The more recent catastrophes are simply the latest in a ghastly string of warnings over decades, that the planet is hurtling down a treacherous path
There is also no doubt that the root cause of this crisis is carbon emissions resulting from the burning of fossil fuels. Industry knew this was coming and set out to deny the issue, governments complied and have delayed needed action and we now wonder if it’s too late. It’s not – drastic measures are needed NOW.

Kenya’s Elephant Baby Boom – – In 2019, I traveled with my daughter’s family to Kenya – a trip that was magical in all meanings of the word. The safari experiences were many. It filled our hearts with joy and optimism. Optimism because we experienced first hand the dedication of the many people preserving and enhancing Kenya’s land and wildlife. One positive outcome is that Kenya’s elephant population has more than doubled over the past 3 decades.
